The Week in Review
Happy Friday!
I hope all of you are having a wonderful week. This week, I was back in the District as Congress was in recess. I hope you’ll read below to learn more about important happenings:
Drop Zone 2022 TOMORROW
Our 3rd Drop Zone event will take place tomorrow. Drop Zone is a resource fair for veterans, seniors, and their families to gain easy access to the services they need. Check out the poster below for more details. We hope to see you there!
Legislation and Letters
Letter to President Biden regarding the appointment of Judge Carmen Maria Rey Caldas to be an immigration judge given her anti-immigration enforcement history.
Letter to the OMB Director regarding reports that indicate the Biden Administration is inappropriately awarding taxpayer-funded government contracts and loans to political allies with a history of donating to Democrats and President Biden’s 2020 campaign.
Letter to Sec. Yellen regarding the exclusion of Elena Baturina from the public sanctions list of Russian elites and oligarchs. Elena Baturina, Russia’s wealthiest woman, who was formerly married to the mayor of Moscow, paid Hunter Biden’s company over $3 million under a consultancy agreement in 2014.
Letters to Twitter board members demanding that they preserve documents and other materials related to Elon Musk’s attempt to purchase Twitter.
Earp Aviation Tour
This week, I toured Earp Aviation along with the Chandler Chamber and Chandler Mayor Kevin Hartke. Aviation is a major driver of Arizona's economy, with aircraft maintenance alone contributing thousands of jobs and more than $4.2 billion in economic growth to our state ever year. A huge thanks to Earp Aviation for the insightful tour.
Prioritizing Arizona Agriculture
This morning, I joined the Arizona Farm Bureau for a visit to Sossaman Farms and Hayden Flour Mills to discuss agriculture in the East Valley and the water challenges our farms are facing.
I'm proud that the 5th district has such a rich agricultural tradition, and I'll continue to fight for responsible water policy to ensure our farms and communities have adequate resources for generations to come.

On Tuesday, I joined Fox News to discuss a new report that finds that immigration authorities apprehended 23 suspected terrorists at the southern border in 2021. I also provide my thoughts on the Border Patrol “whipping” hoax. Click below to watch the full segment.
On Tuesday, I joined Steve Bannon’s War Room to examine the state of our southern border under President Biden. Biden’s open border policies have created a sovereignty crisis. Click below to watch the full segment.
On Wednesday, I joined Fox Business to discuss how the Biden Administration may reverse course on the Title 42 public health order at the southern border and how I saw dozens of illegal aliens from Uzbekistan during my most recent trip down there. Click below to watch the full segment.

Definition of the Week
This week, a Florida federal judge struck down the CDC mask mandate on public transportation. This means Americans can now travel freely without having to wear masks during their flights or bus rides.
Even though most Americans celebrated this decision, the Biden Administration quickly moved to appeal it. Dr. Anthony Fauci even went on to say that he is "concerned about courts getting involved in things that are unequivocally a public health decision. This is a CDC issue.”
Masks never worked to effectively protect Americans from COVID-19. Yet, in an ideal world, Democrats would mandate masks indefinitely.
Courtesy of Michael Knowles’ Speechless, here’s what we think is the latest definition:
COVID-19 Masks: NOUN: a virtue signaling object that the Left seeks to keep on their faces indefinitely.
