After our tour of the National Civil Rights Museum, our team headed to Cavalry Episcopal Church for training. We learned about how MICAH's get out the vote and canvassing efforts have been built up, and how we might build similar efforts at home (left). Gamaliel Board of Directors President Rev. Dr. John C. Welch and Rev. Dr. Rosalyn Nichols visited the National Organization of Black County Officials convention (middle and right).
Support our work in Memphis and across the country!
Sometimes it takes a network to move an issue.
Gamaliel and its affiliates across the country are gathering in Memphis in solidarity with Memphis Interfaith Coalition for Action and Hope (MICAH) as they work to get out the vote ahead of their District Attorney's primary race in May.
Shelby County only elects a District Attorney once every 8 years, so this election is crucial to ensure residents have a voice in their legal system!
Your contributions support Gamaliel's ability to come alongside MICAH, and all of our affiliates nationwide, in their efforts.
