This is the last FEC deadline before Cheri becomes Democrats’ official nominee for North Carolina’s open Senate seat — and the last one before we should find out which Republican we’re facing off against.

But whether it’s failed former Governor Pat McCrory or Trump’s hand-picked crony Rep. Ted Budd, we know that this race is winnable. Recent public polling shows the race is within the margin of error.

So it’s critical we have all the resources we need to build a winning statewide campaign — one that lifts up everybody from the Appalachians to the Outer Banks, rural and urban.

But our fundraising goals are not arbitrary. With our first ad on the air and our organizing operation rapidly expanding, falling short would have a real implication for our campaign. So we’re asking:
