It’s Earth Day, and Tina knows that the response to the climate crisis cannot just be ‘thoughts and prayers.’ The science is clear — if we’re going to save our planet, we need to take serious action on climate change now.
It’s why she authored and introduced the Clean Energy Standard Act that establishes a federal clean energy standard and sets us up to achieve net-zero emissions from the electricity sector by mid-century. Tina has also fought to protect Lake Superior, and championed renewable energy funding in the Farm Bill.
But the work is far from over, john. Communities across Minnesota and the world are feeling the impacts of climate change right now. This is a call to action. We must do everything we can to ensure a livable future for generations to come.
