Friend,

Next Tuesday April 26, the Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in Biden v. Texas, which will determine whether President Biden will follow through on his commitment to end The Remain in Mexico policy at the border. But the impact of this case stretches far beyond immigration, migration, or border policy. What is at stake is the very ability of any future President of any political party to set and implement their own policies, particularly in the areas of foreign policy and national security.

We’re joining with fellow immigration advocates, lawyers, and asylum seekers for a special rally in front of the Supreme Court to show that there’s strong support for restoring our asylum system and finally putting an end to Donald Trump’s “Remain in Mexico” policy for good. As a resident of the DMV area, we need you to join us. Click here to RSVP. → [link removed]

For over three years, the “Remain in Mexico” program has been devastating, the right to seek asylum from thousands of vulnerable people, children and families subjecting them to the abject horrors.

As the Supreme Court hears oral arguments next week, it’s our opportunity to send a message that a majority of Americans want to see this policy finally ended for good, and that we know America is at its best when we keep people safe, regardless of where they’re born, and not stranded.

But we need you with us. As a resident of the DMV area, we’re asking you to join us and countless other advocates at our #SafeNotStranded rally on Tuesday, April 26. Click here to RSVP right away. → [link removed]
