Happy Earth Day, friend!

From working as a park ranger in my youth, to practicing and teaching environmental law -- I've been passionate about protecting our planet my entire life.

I've worked as an attorney for the Sierra Club Legal Defense Fund and the Environmental Protection Agency. I've taught Environmental Law in schools across the country, including the University of Arizona, where I helped create the Environmental Law Certificate Program.

In my years as an environmental advocate, I have seen time and time again that we're given a false choice between protecting jobs or protecting the environment. I'm here to tell you that we can, and MUST, do both if we're going to grow our economy in a sustainable way.

As your Congresswoman, I will do everything I can to encourage smart investments that will create jobs, save families money, and create opportunities for sustainable growth.
