We are fighting to protect populations of northern anchovy in part because they are a critical food source for dozens of ocean animals, including whales, sea lions, brown pelicans, and salmon. We must protect all creatures, great and small, if we want to avoid calamitous chain reactions in our ecosystems.

Every battle in this fight counts; every court victory, from preserving polar bear habitats to stopping aquarium collection in Hawai’i; every one of the hundreds of thousands of emails sent to elected officials by Earthjustice activists each year.
