John,
Today is Earth Day, and we at o2 Utah want you to be part of our movement that will bring clean air to our communities and leave our planet habitable and safe.
Earth Day was created 52 years ago, capturing the activist energy of the day and channeling it into efforts to keep the Earth clean, liveable, and a friendly place for all plants and animals. Today, we at o2 Utah continue the fight and work to elect decision makers who will act in the interest of all rather than the few. If you couldn’t tell by recent dust storms and bad air days, we need action and we need it now.
As we celebrate Earth Day, o2 Utah is gearing up for the primary elections, where Utahns will begin the process of choosing our next class of legislators. These primary races are vital to the spirit of Earth Day. Lawmakers hold the power to enact meaningful change toward clearing our air, protecting public lands, managing our water responsibly, and leading us to be better citizens of Earth. The importance of having the right people in office cannot be overstated.
That is why, on this Earth Day, we are asking you to consider making a donation to o2 Utah.
$15, $25, $100, it all goes directly to our efforts that will put strong policymakers into office and bring the action we need for a healthy Utah. ALL Utahns deserve to breathe clean air, drink clean water, and live on a thriving planet. Becoming a monthly donor ensures that we at o2 Utah can continue our work up on Capitol Hill, out in our communities, and wherever else the fight takes us year round. Fossil Fuel interests don’t rest, so o2 Utah doesn’t either.
We hope you can take a moment today to look around at the grandeur of the Earth here in Utah. We know you’ll agree, it is worth fighting for. Please consider donating on this Earth Day and support o2 Utah in our efforts to preserve the beauty and landscape we love.
Gratefully,
Greg Yerkes
