For decades, California's ambitious car emissions rules have set the standard for the nation, driving innovations in fuel efficiency and pushing the auto industry to offer vehicles with lower carbon emissions nationwide.

Until now.

This fall, Donald Trump revoked California's right to set rules on air quality, threatening to undo the progress we've made and actually accelerate the climate crisis.

Add your name to tell Donald Trump, "Absolutely not. Get your hands off California's emissions standards."

Trump's attacks will hurt us all, but the effects will be especially brutal in communities – disproportionately poor communities, immigrant communities, and communities of color – where highways and commercial warehouses mean thousands of cars and trucks passing through each day.

And while that's unconscionable, what makes this truly grotesque is that Trump is acting solely out of spite. He's pushing his personal vendetta against California, and against Barack Obama.

Millions of people, already struggling in a system that's rigged against them, along with their families and neighbors, face increased risks of chronic disease – because the President of the United States wants to punish people who hurt his feelings.

We're stepping up to fight back – against both Trump's dangerous, petty impulses and the system that pushes their consequences onto our most vulnerable communities. We've got our work cut out for us, and we're not letting up.

stand with us to demand Trump leave auto emissions standards alone.
