Hey there,
This Earth Day, I am recommitting to combating climate change. As you already know, the fight to protect our Earth has never been more important or time-sensitive. Congress is quickly running out of chances to get serious about climate change, and we can already see the effect this has had on our country, from shrinking shorelines to extreme weather.
It’s true that President Biden has allocated an historic amount to mitigating the worst impacts of climate change in his most recent budget. But friends, I think we can go even further. Weatherproofing communities and funding weather prevention is important . What we are up against, though, will require a serious course correction — from gas to green energy.
As gas prices soar and energy companies rake in billions, it’s time to reconsider our energy sources. Not just for this moment, but for the fate of the Earth. Will you join me, friends, in advocating that Congress address climate change by funding alternative energy sources? [[link removed]]

This Earth is the only one we’ve got, friends, and I am dedicated to preserving it. Fighting climate change through renewable energy sources is something we need to seriously consider. As your Earth Day commitment, can you sign on to let Congress know Americans want to see green, renewable energy in their communities? [[link removed]]
