Dear Friend,
The United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) recently called this our
"now or never" moment to reduce global warming before it's too late.
LCV is running our largest advocacy campaign ever to push Congress to pass bold climate legislation to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, create jobs in the clean energy economy, and advance environmental justice for low-wealth communities of color on the front lines of pollution and the climate crisis. We are organizing grassroots events, flooding Congress with demands for action, and mobilizing activists and local leaders in legislators' home states and districts — all with the goal to
pass climate action now.
This Earth Day, we need
you to take action for our planet.
Tell Congress: we need to pass climate action for our planet immediately.
Without climate action now, we will miss our window to curb greenhouse gas emissions and mitigate the effects of the climate crisis, locking in a future of worsening natural disasters, extreme drought, sea level rise, and so much more.
Our country must invest in an equitable transition to clean energy, creating well-paying union jobs that preserve and protect a livable planet and build thriving, sustainable communities —
while we still have the chance.
To make climate action a reality, we need to make sure our leaders know where we stand.
Will you be one of 5,000 LCV supporters who takes action and helps us meet our Earth Day goal?
We can't do this without you. Thank you for joining us as we fight for our future together.

P.S. Join us tomorrow, Saturday April 23rd at 1PM [EDT] to demand action on climate, jobs, and justice. Together we'll rally in Washington, D.C. to demand Congress and President Biden get the job done. Can we count you in?
