Save the Children Action Network is the political voice for kids.

Climate change and food insecurity go hand in hand – and if we don’t act now, they could steal bright futures from an entire generation of children. On this Earth Day, urge your members of Congress to support hungry children impacted by the climate crisis!

Hi John,

Today is Earth Day, a time to remember that climate change is about more than polar bears and melting ice caps.

It’s polluted air, flash floods and wildfires. It’s destroyed homes, ravaged crops and hungry bellies.

It’s children like 7-year-old Adia*, whose future was stolen by drought.

Adia was forced to flee her home in Somalia when rising temperatures and a water shortage caused her family’s livestock – a vital source of food and income – to perish. She’s been fighting malnutrition ever since, surviving only on emergency humanitarian assistance.

John, millions of children are going to bed with empty bellies as a direct result of the climate crisis. Send a message to Congress: we must boost foreign aid funding to help hungry kids survive today, and thrive tomorrow.

The world’s poorest children have contributed the least to climate change – but they’re suffering the most. By 2050, another 24 million are projected to be undernourished due to the climate crisis alone.

There’s no planet B for the next generation of children – but together, we can help communities adapt in the face of changing climate patterns.

Urge Congress to increase foreign aid funding to help kids survive the climate crisis and build resilience for the future.

Thank you for being a voice for kids,
