Friend, We’re not going to sugar coat it: This Earth Day, we’re reminded of how much work there is still to do. Although we’ve seen some real wins -- allocating funding to restore the Cano Martin Peña, working to get lead out of our pipes and water, and working towards true environmental justice here in New York City -- they don’t go nearly far enough. Communities of color are already feeling disproportionate impacts of the climate crisis, and unless we invest in climate resiliency for every neighborhood, it’s only going to get worse. That’s why Nydia is so committed to fighting for true climate justice and supporting progressive champions at every level who are ready to do the same. Will you stand with her? We know how much work there is left to do and how overwhelming it can feel. But we also know that Nydia is the leader we need to meet this moment. Chip in now if you agree.
