Happy Earth Day, John,

A few weeks ago, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) released a new climate report. The findings? We need to phase out fossil fuels immediately. We’re already seeing the effects of climate change–like drought, extreme wildfires, deadly heatwaves, low snowpack, and more. We need to take action now if we want to prevent the climate crisis from becoming catastrophic. So what can we do to take action?

One of the most powerful things we can do is vote. Vote for climate champions. Vote for a better future!

That’s why, this Earth Day, we’re spreading the word about why it’s important to vote for the climate. In honor of Earth Day, will you join in our Social Media Day of Action and share one of our “I’m a Climate Voter” graphics on Facebook, Instagram, and/or Twitter? Check out our toolkit here [[link removed]!

Oregon’s future is on the line. Who we elect will either turn Oregon backwards and undo the progress we’ve made, or continue to move us forward. We simply don’t have time for anything but bold action.

This Earth Day, will you join us in spreading the word about how important it is to vote for climate champions this upcoming election [[link removed]]? The primary is right around the corner on May 17th, and there’s a lot at stake. Will you share a post from our Day of Action toolkit, and let everyone know you support climate action [[link removed]]?

Thank you for taking action,
Francesca Varela
