As Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan fight to improve the lives of every Minnesotan all across the state, our GOP opponents are only focused on one thing: Pandering to the most dangerous elements of the Republican base.

In what was no doubt an effort to build momentum ahead of the MN GOP State Convention next month, Republican candidate for governor Paul Gazelka rolled out the endorsement of former Minnesota congresswoman and right-wing talking head Michele Bachmann this week.

We can’t say we’re surprised. After all, Gazelka and Bachmann both made careers out of denying science, attacking abortion rights, and discriminating against LGBTQ Minnesotans.

John, the choice is clear this November: We can keep moving forward together as One Minnesota, or we can let Republicans drag us back to the politics of fear, division, and cruelty.
