This June we’re taking the UK government to court over its inadequate response to the climate crisis. And we need your help to do it.
We desperately need a clear plan to cut emissions, and a future that’s fair for everyone.
But the government’s Net Zero Strategy fails to lay out how we’ll meet our upcoming emissions reduction targets [1]. That means it doesn’t comply with the Climate Change Act, a law Friends of the Earth helped create back in 2008 – with support from amazing people like you.
And we think that makes it unlawful, so we’re heading to court later this year to challenge the plans.
