Hi John, and Happy Earth Day!
Today is a wonderful opportunity to get outside and enjoy the beauty of the Nutmeg State. There are beautiful state parks throughout eastern Connecticut like Pachaug State Forest, Bigelow Hollow, and Rocky Neck – not to mention the over 3,000 lakes and ponds and 5,800 miles of rivers and streams in our state.
Joe helped protect the natural beauty of East Lyme and Waterford at the “Save the River-Save the Hills” Niantic River Appreciation Day Kayak Regatta.
Joe knows just how important it is to protect our state’s natural resources. In fact, his pro-environmental record in Congress led him to receive a 100% rating from the League of Conservation Voters last year.
We need to keep environmental leaders like Joe in Congress to help protect our natural resources for generations to come, John. If you’re able, will you chip in a few dollars today to Joe’s re-election campaign so that he can keep fighting for bigger, bolder climate action?
