Environment Colorado Earth Day 2022 Drive

Dear Friend,

Neonicotinoids -- a particularly toxic class of pesticides -- are banned in Europe. Why? Because these chemicals devastate bee populations. So how come we still allow their use here in the United States?1

As long as these bee-killing pesticides -- commonly called neonics -- are used to treat our crops, gardens and backyards, it will be impossible for collapsing bee colonies to thrive once again. That's why we're working to ban the worst uses of these toxic pesticides, but we need your help to defend nature's best pollinators.

Donate to Earth Day 2022 Drive today to help us save the bees.

Donate today to help save the bees

Donate by April 22, and generous donors will match your gift, doubling your impact up to $50,000 nationwide.

We've weeded out neonics from store shelves at Home Depot and Lowe's, and now we're calling on Amazon, the world's largest online retailer, to stop selling bee-killing pesticides.

By targeting neonics at point-of-sale, and calling on the Biden administration to ban their use in wildlife refuges across the country, we can protect bees from a poison that attacks their nerve synapses -- leading to compulsive shaking, paralysis and an eventual painful death.2

But we can't eliminate the worst uses of neonics without help from supporters like you, Friend.

This Earth Day, double your impact by donating to Environment Colorado, and help fuel our bee-friendly campaigns.

Thank you,

Rex Wilmouth

Your donation will be used to support all of our campaigns to protect the environment, from saving the bees and protecting public lands, to standing up for clean water and fighting climate change. None of our work would be possible without supporters like you. Environment Colorado may transfer up to $50 per dues-paying member per year into the Environment Colorado Small Donor Committee.
