Earlier this month, EPPC's Faith Angle Forum Miami brought together leading US journalists for engaging discussions led by premier scholars on critical issues to help bridge the gap between religion and journalism. This forum convened 20 journalists and six speakers in Miami, FL, for two days of rich conversation on emerging trends in Jewish life, Christian nationalism and the culture of white evangelicalism, and the possibilities for renewing leadership in deeply polarized times. Watch the sessions from this conference here:

Principled Leadership in Polarized Times

Prof. David Gergen, advisor to four U.S. presidents, CNN senior analyst, and founder of Harvard’s Center for Public Leadership, argues that declining trust in American institutions poses a real challenge to our common life. This “big think” conversation explores the role of trust – in leadership, institutions, and religiosity.

Jesus and John Wayne in the Evangelical Church

American evangelicalism is today navigating an important moment of reorientation and reexamination of its identity, and as our speakers highlight, it has much to learn from the history and witness of its global counterparts.

Emerging Trends in Jewish Life and Religion

This session explores Jewish life in America. How are the openness of American society, high rates of intermarriage, political polarization, and the continuing challenge of antisemitism affecting Jewish family life, religious and political affiliations, relationships to Israel, and sense of community solidarity?
