96 [link removed]  Momentum Is On Our Side Chairman Kyle
Hupfer speaks at the Lawrence County Lincoln Day Dinner in Bedford,
Ind., on the importance of staying focused on delivering real results.
As more and more polls are released and pundits hit the Sunday shows,
one thing is becoming clearer: momentum is on our side.
Over the past
two weeks, Joe Biden was dealt devastating blows when, in three separate
polls, his approval rating hit the lowest or tied the lowest ever for a
president. And on the most important issues to voters like inflation,
the economy, crime, and immigration, he polled underwater by at least 21
points. On inflation alone, he's underwater by 38 points!
The
American people are fully rejecting the Democrats' disastrous agenda
that has led to skyrocketing inflation, a higher cost of living,
decreasing wages, and chaos at our southern border, and as a result,
Democrats are treading water.
But the incoming (red) wave may be too
large.
Earlier this week, POLITICO released its first forecast of the
November elections. For the House? "Likely Republican." And for the
Senate? "Leans Republican." Moreover, both Cook Political Report and
Sabato’s Crystal Ball downgraded Democrat Frank Mrvan’s race in
Indiana's First Congressional District from “Likely Democrat” to “Leans
Democrat.”
Republicans have a huge opportunity this fall.
And if
we stay focused on what matters most — people and delivering real
results — we will be placed in a position to lead our country in a new
direction.

  Governor Holcomb's Week That Was
Launching the #BeTheOne Initiative On Wednesday, Governor Holcomb was
joined by members of INDYCAR and the American Legion at the Indianapolis
Motor Speedway to announce the launch of the “Be The One” initiative.
The campaign aims to raise awareness about veteran suicide deaths and
remove barriers to mental health care for veterans.
Governor Holcomb
is a veteran of the Navy, and said as a part of the initiative, Indiana
will introduce a hotline in July that will connect veterans to mental
health resources.
“I think it's our duty, quite frankly, as citizens
of this nation and state, for those who are fortunate to make it back,
to be there for them,” stated Gov. Holcomb.

 Announcing
Huge Investments in Infrastructure It was a week filled with huge
infrastructure announcements from Governor Holcomb!
On Monday, Gov.
Holcomb announced $189 million for 154 broadband infrastructure
expansion projects across the state in the third round of the Next
Level Connections Broadband Grant Program.
“This record-setting
investment in broadband is another game-changer for Hoosiers who now,
more than ever, need affordable, reliable internet,” Gov. Holcomb said.
“With this third round, we take giant steps in leveling the playing
field for our residents regardless of where they choose to live, work
or go to school.”
In addition to the $189 million awarded, the 35
telecommunications providers and utility cooperatives contributed more
than $239 million in matching funds, resulting in more than $429
million total investment for broadband in the third round.
Then on
Tuesday, Gov. Holcomb and the Indiana Department of Transportation
announced 224 Indiana cities, towns, and counties received a combined
$107.8 million in state matching funds for local road projects through
Community Crossings, a component of the his Next Level Roads program.
"Community Crossings makes immediate impacts on improving local roads
and bridges across Indiana. Those improvements translate to a safe,
reliable, robust transportation infrastructure that benefits residents
and business in every corner of our state and every place in between,"
stated Gov. Holcomb.
And on Wednesday, Gov. Holcomb and the Indiana
Department of Natural Resources announced 38 communities and non-profit
organizations will receive a combined $65 million for 77 miles of new
trail development as part of the Next Level Trails Grant Program.
“Trails connect communities together in such a personal way and are
perfect pathways to good mental and physical well-being,” Gov. Holcomb
said. “These continued quality-of-life investments will reap
generational economic and tourism development dividends and further
showcase Indiana’s incredible outdoor experiences.”
 Sen. Young
Endorsed by Susan B. Anthony List, Launches Pro-Lifers for Todd Young
On Tuesday, Friends of Todd Young announced that Susan B. Anthony's
List Candidate Fund PAC had endorsed Sen. Todd Young.
“Senator Young
is a passionate champion for unborn children and their mothers, and we
are proud to endorse him for re-election,” said Hon. Marilyn Musgrave,
SBA List’s vice president of government affairs.
“[link removed] From helping families
welcome adopted children, to serving on the board of a local maternity
home, protecting life is personal to Sen. Young. He has fought for the
voiceless at every opportunity – calling out the extreme, hypocritical
Biden-Schumer agenda of late-term abortion on demand up to birth,
standing up for the will of Hoosiers who have worked hard to enact
commonsense abortion limits, and establishing an impeccable pro-life
record. At the most crucial moment in generations for the cause of life
in America, we are honored to back Sen. Young and urge voters across
Indiana to re-elect him as we work to take back the Senate this
November.”
Additionally, on Monday, Friends of Todd Young launched
"Pro-Lifers for Todd Young," a coalition to help defend the sanctity of
life.
