Send ready-to-go message to your local TDs on the link between ‘DIY’ home abortions and coercive abortion
The Pro Life Campaign is strengthening its call to members of the Oireachtas to press the Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly to stop sanctioning the dangerous practice of ‘DIY’ remote consultation home abortions.

Following the shocking new findings in the UK regarding the prevalence of coercive abortion in society and the recent admission from the HSE acknowledging the link between remote consultation home abortions and coercive abortion, now is the time for the Government to act. The Minister for Health however is refusing to honour the Government’s promise to end the practice of home abortions in line with Covid restrictions were being lifted.

To ensure the Minister for Health gets the message, please send a quick ready-to-go message to your Oireachtas Members asking them to make representations on your behalf to the Minister on this important issue.

Click here and take 2 minutes to read and send the ready-to-go message.

Many thanks for your help in raising awareness and seeking a response from the Minister on this matter.

‘My baby would not be alive’: Mother says abortion pill reversal saved her child
Katianna who saved the life of her baby after undergoing Abortion Pill Reversal treatment
Soon after Katianna, a young mum from Miami, Florida took the abortion pill, she regretted the decision.

She frantically searched online for information about abortion regret and came across the group Abortion Pill Rescue Network® (APRN).  In her recent online testimony, Katianna says: “I Googled ‘abortion regret,’ and immediately found the Abortion Pill Reversal.”

In the video produced when she was 25 weeks pregnant, she claims she was sceptical at first about  APRN as she had never heard before that such groups even existed.

Katianna had already taken the first two doses of the abortion pill before contacting APRN. She was desperate to get help to save her baby’s life.

APRN administered the reversal pills which worked and Katrianna was put in touch with Heartbeat of Miami pregnancy centre to assist her through the remainder of her pregnancy.

Last month, she delivered a healthy baby girl, whom she named Ocean. Commenting on the help and support received from the various pro-life individuals and groups, she said: “From the bottom of my heart, I want to say, ‘thank you’. I’m extremely blessed”.

“If it weren’t for their help, how quick, how knowledgeable, and how effective the treatment was, I would be sad and depressed, and my baby would not be alive,” she said.

The individuals and groups that assisted Katianna are depicted in the most negative light possible by abortion campaigners and their allies in the mainstream media. They go to absolutely extraordinary lengths to smear, demonise and undermine the work of these brave people who are simply trying to save the life of another human being – incidentally, a human being whose mother is also desperate to save.

The abortion pill reversal debate shines a whole new light on the abortion debate – not because of the manufactured controversy surrounding it, but because it demonstrates in a crystal clear way that the so called ‘pro-choice’ movement doesn’t really believe in choice. The word ‘choice’ is nothing more than a soothing sounding slogan to them as they endeavour to ensure that all roads lead to abortion. If genuine choice was what they believed in, they would celebrate the decision of any woman who seeks abortion pill reversal treatment to give their baby a chance to live and thrive.

Amnesty and other pro-abortion groups using war in Ukraine to push abortion

Groups like Amnesty International, the Center for Reproductive Rights and International Planned Parenthood Federation are all signatories to an open ‘Call to Action’, in which they are using the war in Ukraine to thrust abortion on the region.

The ‘Call to Action’ document contains a long list of demands, including ending all restrictions to abortion in countries that have welcomed Ukranian refugees, such as Poland, Slovakia and Romania.

The groups also want the European Union, donor governments, and the broader international community to ensure humanitarian packages and convoys to Ukraine and refugee host countries include “reproductive health kits”, which is euphemistic language for equipping abortion.

The groups have also called for the blocking of funding to groups working to help Ukrainian refugees if the organisations oppose abortion.

As of the start of March, according to the UN, more than 4,300 babies were born in Ukraine since the Russian invasion began. A further 80,000 women are expected to give birth in the country over the next three months. Surely, caring for these moms and babies should be the only priority in the area of maternal care, rather than facilitating the ending of more innocent human lives?

Commenting on the agenda of the groups that signed the ‘Call to Action’ document, Right To Life UK spokesperson, Catherine Robinson, said: “These abortion-promoting organisations are attempting to take advantage of a humanitarian crisis to push their own ideological agenda and promote the ending of more lives through abortion. The people affected by this war need life-saving humanitarian assistance, not abortions. Those promoting abortion during this international crisis should be utterly ashamed of themselves”.
