Episode 23

"Please Explain"

The Media

<[link removed]>

The mainstream media—once upon a time it was known as the fourth estate <[link removed]>.

These days it’s more commonly called fake news.

Journalists, fighting over fewer and fewer jobs, rush to ask cheap 'gotcha' questions or write up lazy clickbait gossip articles; the pursuit of the truth long forgotten.

How did it ever get so bad?

Is it possible for the media to sink any lower?

Tune in to this week’s episode of Please Explain and find out.

If you haven't already, remember to watch and share our election special, 'How to Vote Responsibly' <[link removed]> narrated by Australian television and radio icon John Burgess.

You can also catch up on all the Please Explain episodes here on our website.

We always enjoy reading your comments on YouTube. It's great to see the responses and the interactions. Thank you for your support:

"I never know if I should laugh or cry. Here's a crazy idea, put your heads together and make a better Australia. This is not a football match on who wins and who loses this is about our friggin' Country. love ya work Pauline! hope this election goes well for you and your party, it would bring some common sense into parliament." (Michael Hoc)

"Whilst this is very funny, the sad thing is, this is exactly what we'll get if Labor wins. I think we are safer with LNP in the house and One Nation holding the balance of power in the Senate to keep them honest." (Dennis Evans)

"Albo's coal mining policy depends on where he is in Australia at the time."(Fact Menace)

"I love how you guys make these great colourful DOCUMENTARIES 😂😂😂😂😂" (Elisa Grant)

Take it Easy, Albanese

From Senator Pauline Hanson

<[link removed]>

Well, I called it. Despite two jabs and a booster Anthony Albanese has caught COVID.

Now it’s time for him, and Morrison, to call for an end to these ridiculous jab mandates and give people back their freedom and their jobs!

<[link removed]>See Last Weekend's Prediction Here <[link removed]>

The thought of Anthony Albanese getting his forgetful hands on the controls of Australia's economy has a lot of people rightfully worried.

His lack of knowledge about key parts of our economy and his lack of experience in economic portfolios are bad enough but there is one big problem some people are overlooking.

Albanese would not have full control of the Senate and would be held to ransom by the Greens.

A Labor/Greens Government would mean an explosion in handouts, unaffordable boosts to foreign aid at the expense of Aussies back home, more migration our cities cannot handle, the death of Australia's coal mining industry, the closure of our coal-fired power stations, and skyrocketing cost of living expenses.

Labor cannot afford to pay for its own promises let alone the wacky promises of the Greens but under Albanese the costs of the Greens are something we will always be forced to pay for.

That said, I think both Liberal and Labor need to pull their heads in and deal with this debt so the costs are not unfairly forced on to future generations. Watch Paul Murray Live Pub Test: The Mavericks below.

<[link removed]>

I am so honoured that the people of Queensland have put their faith in me to represent them.

Thanks to you, over the last six years, I and my One Nation team were able to achieve so much for the people of Australia.

That is why I know that if you put your faith in me again and vote for One Nation in this election then together we can achieve even more.

Thank you everyone for your support!

The Bugs in the System of the 'Trusted' Digital Identity Bill

From Senator Malcolm Roberts, Queensland

<[link removed]>

Let them eat bugs... Remember the plan <[link removed]> to restrict you to eating less than one bite of red meat per day?

That’s only possible if the Government can track your every move with the Digital Identity Bill.

Defending Parental Rights

From The Hon. Mark Latham MLC, New South Wales

<[link removed]>

Parents must not be kept in the dark by schools about significant developments with their children at school (such as changing gender).

It’s a family destroyer.

I have spoken to mothers distraught about how school secrecy ripped their families apart.

I’m upset about it, yes, but why isn’t Premier Perrottet?

He’s supposed to be the Family Values guy.

In NSW he’s happy for government schools to keep parents in the dark.

Watch this exchange on my Facebook page from the NSW Budget Estimates:

<[link removed]>Watch Video <[link removed]>

Yesterday in Budget Estimates I grilled Premier Perrottet about a disturbing government policy whereby if a young person decides to change gender at school, they can order the school not to tell their parents and the school is obliged to follow that directive.

This is simply unacceptable. Parents are the primary educators of their children and have a basic right to know about significant things happening to their children at school. They must never be kept in the dark.

Listen here: One Nation NSW Leader Mark Latham joins Brent Bultitude Radio 2HD Newcastle <[link removed]>

Thank you to the many people supporting my campaign to ensure parents are not kept in the dark about significant developments with their children at school (such as schools pushing gender fluidity).

Under the NSW Perrottet Government, it’s official policy to give students and schools the right not to tell parents, which is just plain wrong.

Secrecy of this kind is a family destroyer.

On my Facebook page, one parent summed it up perfectly: "We do not co-parent with government".

Well said.

Thank you.

Mark Latham MLC

Land Grabs Continue Under Guise of Green

From Stephen Andrew, MP for Mirani QLD

The Queensland Government’s recent purchase of two existing pastoral leases north of Weipa, amounting to nearly 325,932 hectares of agricultural land, has led to calls for the buying program in Cape York to "stop".

Many graziers say they are becoming fearful for the future of the cattle industry up North, as more and more large pastoral properties are being bought up by the Government.

Since 2007, the Queensland Government has bought more than a dozen pastoral properties in Cape York, including Kalinga, Crosbie, Strathmay, Killarney, Dixie, and Wulpan Stations.

Bertiehaugh Station was bought by the Federal Government and renamed the Steve Irwin Wildlife Reserve.

All these stations have been permanently removed from Australia’s agricultural lands network and converted into national parks or wildlife reserves.

Now Bramwell and Richardson Stations have joined the list – the northern-most cattle enterprise in Queensland.

The buy-ups are impacting neighbouring stations and communities, as more money is ripped from town economies, along with countless jobs.

Many are suspicious that the government may be buying up land to gain carbon credits. Bramwell Station, for example, came with a "carbon farming deal" in place.

Grazier Emma Jackson, who runs nearby Wolverton Station in Cape York, said the sale of Bramwell Station was very troubling.

"If the cattle stations continue to close down in Cape York, it will be … another nail in the coffin for the grazing industry," she told the Brisbane Times recently.

"The state government might buy the land, but they don't invest money into it. It's not feasible or possible for them to manage it”.

"When you're producing on the land, you know where every weed is, you do your fire management, you make a dollar and it goes straight back into the land".

She further explained, "There's this perception that when you're working the land in cattle or horticulture, you're not working with the land, that you're not doing the right thing and that's simply not correct."

Local graziers and communities are not being consulted or given a say over the government 'buy-ups'.

Questions around the vital issue of our 'food security' or the impact on Queensland’s agricultural sector overall continue to go unanswered. Bear in mind that this is productive farmland we are talking about – land that food producers could make good use of.

Land that is now lost to Queensland agriculture forever.

Election News

It's fair to say that this will be a history-making election for One Nation.

It is the first time we have put this many candidates into an election. We have put someone into every seat in Australia, and senate candidates in every state, including Tasmania.

The ability to run so many candidates has been made possible because of the support we get from our members and the public.

People are waking up to the truth of what Pauline Hanson has been saying publicly for over 25 years. This, combined with the fact that over the last six years we've re-established ourselves as a party and achieved real change with commonsense policies, has gained us more supporters across Australia.

From the heartland of Australia to the central business districts of our capital cities, more people every day are becoming aware of what's at stake if we don't have a real say in how our nation is governed.

To all those who stepped forward to be candidates, volunteers, or who have donated to our campaign so far or bought One Nation merchandise... we cannot thank you enough. It's you who make One Nation what it is. A serious contender in this coming federal election.

Thank you.

To say the coming federal election is of historical importance to Australia is no exaggeration. Many of us want to see real change and we're looking for a better, more honest government.

Come election day, One Nation has the opportunity to bring that change. Our goal now is to reach even more Australians, and as a grassroots party, we rely on everyday Aussies for support... not corporate lobbyists.

We are so grateful to all our members, volunteers and supporters who are willing to pitch in and enable us to reach more Australians with our animated series and other tools in our campaign toolbox.

If you can, chip in to assist us with fighting our 2022 Federal Election Campaign... every donation helps:

<[link removed]>

That's all from us this week as we grow closer to this incredibly important election. We can't stress enough how grateful we are for all your support — we couldn't do it without you.

All those who share our news with others are doing a lot to help grow and nurture our support base.

Here at One Nation, we appreciate your support and the fact that so many more people understand what's at stake for all Australians at this 2022 federal election.

We're giving it all we've got and we know you will too.

Kind regards

Natalie <[link removed]>
