John, let's compare the records of Marie and her opponent when it comes to protecting the health of our communities:

Before she got to Congress, Marie was active in her community protesting corporate giant Sterigenics in Willowbrook. They were forced to close the plant after it was revealed they were emitting a cancer-causing chemical called ethylene oxide and endangering local residents for decades.

And once in office, she introduced legislation to require products to have clear labeling if they contain ethylene oxide. But Sean Casten — despite being on the ethylene oxide task force — refuses to sign on to her bill.

It's one thing to put out words. It's another to lead and take action. We need doers and not talkers, especially on a core issue such as stopping dangerous chemicals from being released into our communities.

Voters need to know that Marie can be trusted to lead, and that Casten hasn't shown up when it counts. Chip in so we can hit our end-of-month goal of $15,000 and continue to get our message in front of voters before the primary.
