The Colorado Turnout Project was formed in January 2021 following the horrific Jan. 6 Capitol riot. We saw at that moment the rise of the violent, pro-autocratic Right and knew we needed to do something to fight back.

One tangible way we can do that is by putting up an aggressive opposition to Rep. Lauren Boebert. She must be stopped, but more than that it is essential for the people of Colorado, and common sense folks across the country who are fed up with the extremism and pointless anger of far-right lunatics like Boebert and Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Another thing we can do is to fight for progressive and pro-democracy leaders in battleground districts and states. Colorado is trending the right direction, but we cannot get complacent. And we have a new congressional district that must be won.

Our video production team is going to the newly-drawn and highly competitive 8th District to talk directly to the voters that will shape the future of Colorado—and very well could decide the balance of power in the U.S. House.
