After more than a year of investigating Trump’s deadly attack on the
Capitol, Congressman Jamie Raskin and the January 6 committee are gearing
up for public hearings to expose the damning truth.

“This was a coup organized by the president against the vice-president and
against the Congress in order to overturn the 2020 presidential election,”
Raskin told The Guardian in an interview this week. “We’re going to tell
the whole story of everything that happened.”

hearings because they are going to blow the roof off the House."

Now, Raskin is preparing the public for the terrifying truth behind
Trump’s insurrection -- and how close it came to ending our democracy.

The Guardian reports, “If the attack on the Capitol had succeeded in
preventing the certification of Biden as the incoming president, Raskin
asserts that ‘Trump was prepared to seize the presidency and likely to
invoke the Insurrection Act and declare martial law’”.
