It’s not complicated, folks. Medical decisions should be made between a patient and their doctor. Full stop.

But the attacks on reproductive rights just keep on coming. Most recently, Republican Governors signed legislation severely restricting access to critical, life-saving reproductive care in Oklahoma, Arizona, and Florida — joining a long list of states with unconstitutional laws banning the right to a safe and legal abortion.

With the Supreme Court weighing their decision in a case that could overturn Roe v. Wade, defending reproductive freedom is more important than ever before. That’s why I’m fighting my heart out to pass my bill, the Women’s Health Protection Act, to finally protect the right to a safe and legal abortion by federal law — but Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans are standing in our way.

Well folks, if McConnell and Trump could eliminate the filibuster to put three Supreme Court justices on the bench, then we should do the same to pass the WHPA and protect reproductive rights for millions of Americans – no matter what the Supreme Court decides.

Every person deserves the right to make their own health care decisions, without interference from anti-choice Republicans. If you agree, add your name to my petition calling on the Senate to pass the Women’s Health Protection Act.
