Believe it or not, the first wave of primary elections is just a few weeks away. 

We know that our incredible candidates have what it takes to represent our communities and make history. But to make their progressive vision for our democracy a reality, they need to overcome establishment barriers, push back on racist messages, and turn out New American voters.

That's where you come in.

Today, we are thrilled to announce the launch of our Actionista Team, a volunteer group of New Americans, people of color, and allies—people like you!—committed to supporting progressive New American candidates and strengthening our democracy!

Our Actionista Team will play a key role in the primary election and beyond. As a member, you'll have the chance to volunteer by texting voters or joining NALAF staff in researching New American campaigns, candidates, and trends to ensure we are doing everything we can to support the next cohort of visionary leaders. 

We know that the results of this year's elections will impact our communities for years to come. By joining the Actionista Team today, you'll show our endorsees that you have their backs in the primary as they fight for our communities and make our shared vision for an inclusive democracy a reality!
