We are less than 2 weeks away from primary election day for PIA endorsed Rep. Shontel Brown in Ohio’s 11th district. But, The Plain Dealer, Ohio’s largest Newspaper, just endorsed Shontel’s opponent, Nina Turner, a former state senator and former national co-chair for Bernie Sanders’ presidential race. Rep. Brown is still leading, but we  need to ACT FAST to ensure that she can hold this congressional seat.

In her short time in Congress, Rep. Brown has become a prominent voice for the U.S.-Israel relationship.  Unlike her opponent, Nina Turner, Rep. Brown strongly supports Israel’s ability to defend itself, opposes BDS vocally and believes in strengthening America’s close alliance with Israel. In a recent interview, Rep. Brown captured the difference between both candidates’ approach to the US-Israel relationship this way:

We can’t afford to lose any ground in this election cycle. Your support for Rep. Shontel Brown last year helped her secure the victory to represent Ohio’s 11th District. Now it is time to do it again.
