We’re excited to announce that tickets are now on sale for LEAF’s Equality Day Gala. LEAF was founded on Equality Day, the same day the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms section 15 equality guarantees came into force in 1985.

The Equality Day Gala is our biggest and most important event. The funds raised from the gala support LEAF’s work, including case interventions, legal education, and law reform advocacy.

Join us to support our work and celebrate 37 years of advancing gender equality in Canada. We look forward to celebrating, in person, with many of our closest supporters—without whom our work would not be possible!

The Gala, hosted by Supriya Dwivedi, will be held on May 31st at the Globe and Mail Centre in Toronto.

We hope to be able to celebrate with you in person next month!

EVENT DETAILS

Date/ Time: Tuesday, May 31st, 2022 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm EDT

Location: Globe & Mail Centre, Downtown Toronto

Public Health Measures: We will be implementing COVID safety measures in accordance with up-to-date recommendations from Toronto Public Health . There will also be a beautiful outdoor space available for attendees to use at any time throughout the evening.

Sponsor a ticket! LEAF has many supporters, including those face financial barriers in attending. Whether or not you can join us on May 31st, if would like to purchase a ticket for someone else and make the celebration financially accessible for them, please contact Tracy Au at [email protected].

Tax Receipts: Please note LEAF will not be issuing a tax receipt for tickets purchased for this event.
