Where is the urgency?

In this country:

- Hundreds of thousands are sleeping on the street.
- Rents are skyrocketing.
- Homeownership is a fantasy for far too many.

This is a problem that can be solved, but not nearly enough is being done to solve it.

As HUD Secretary we made great strides to promote fair housing practices, make homeownership more affordable, and curb rising rents. In Trump’s administration, these efforts have been stalled.

We need an even greater effort nationwide, and it will take presidential leadership. As a candidate, I have put forth plans and have aggressively fought to bring attention to this crisis.

Unfortunately, many keep putting this critical issue on the backburner. I need your help to keep pushing.
