I have not been quiet about my condemnation of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, folks.

And apparently, Russia took note of that – I was just sanctioned!

But that's no cause for alarm, folks.

In all seriousness, we need to ensure that something like Russia's invasion of Ukraine can’t happen again, and one way to do that is by swearing off Russian oil exports. Will you add your name today to urge Congress to make the shift?

The need to transition to clean energy has never been clearer – scientists are in agreement that if we don’t cut our carbon emissions within the next couple of years, we’ll be on our way to total climate catastrophe.

And fossil fuels empower authoritarian regimes like Vladimir Putin’s – Russia’s barbaric, inhumane invasion of Ukraine would not be possible without Russia’s sizable economy borne from oil exports.

The time is now for Congress to boldly declare an end to our dependency on fossil fuels and invest in clean energy sources – our environment and the sanctity of democracies like Ukraine depend on it. Will you join me in urging Congress to act by signing on today?
