The Governor has finally caved to the pressure and announced that he will convene another Special Session of the legislature next month to address Florida's property insurance crisis. 

As the first Member of the Florida House to call for a Special Session on property insurance, I’m grateful that our call was answered. It’s past time that the legislature reconvenes to do our job with the tools that we have and address this crisis that has thousands of Floridians struggling under these rising prices.

I look forward to working to lower rates for Floridians that have been ravaged by skyrocketing insurance premiums to fight to protect their homes.
