Our opponent's big fundraising haul had very little support from
hardworking, everyday people. His campaign received hundreds of big
checks, and his donor list is packed with corporate PACS, real-estate
developers, conservative establishment democrats, and even the infamous
pharma bro and corrupt Wall Street executive Martin Shkreli.

Our campaign is powered by people, not wealthy corporate interests. Last
quarter we raised 5x more than our opponent from small dollar donations —
while his average big dollar donor gave a whopping $1,556, our campaign
had thousands of supporters in NY-16 and across the country chip in an
average of just $67. That is what a people-powered campaign looks like,
and it ensures Jamaal is accountable only to the hardworking, everyday
folks like you he serves in Congress.
