With Earth Day coming up tomorrow, I want to take this moment to talk to you about climate change.

Earlier this year, a U.N. climate report found that we’re not doing enough right now to mitigate the worst outcomes of climate change.

But there’s hope:

“We Can Limit Global Warming If We Don’t Waste Time”
- The New York Times, April 12, 2022

We can’t waste any more time addressing this crisis. Will you add your name right now to show your support for combating climate change? [[link removed]]

I’ve remained a tireless advocate for climate action in the House. My work on climate has earned me A ratings from Clean Water Action, Defenders of Wildlife, the League of Conservation Voters, and the National Parks.

I’ve secured funding to preserve our public lands and natural resources, including the Chesapeake Bay. I introduced legislation to help coastal communities prepare for increasingly frequent storms and flooding. I fought for the bipartisan infrastructure bill to make our infrastructure more climate-resilient, expand electric vehicle buses and charging stations, and create green jobs to transition our country to a clean-energy economy.

And I support the Green New Deal because I recognize that a crisis this big demands a big response. This plan would set us on a path to reducing emissions and meeting our climate goals and ensure clean air to breathe and clean water to drink for everyone.

I got into this fight to protect our planet and precious natural resources for future generations, like my grandson Charlie. I plan to stay in this fight for as long as it takes. Can I count on you to join me?

This Earth Day, sign on your support for taking action against climate change. >> [[link removed]]
