I need to tell you something important about the climate crisis, John. And then I'm going to ask you to donate $3.50 towards our Earth Day fundraising goal.
Here's the truth:
We are up against the most politically entrenched, well-funded industry on the planet. Big Oil wants to use their status to scare us into inaction. They want us to give up. In fact, they're counting on it.
Big Oil wants us to believe that they are TOO powerful. They want us to believe that there's NO hope.
And they're wrong.
Together, our movement to take on the climate crisis is strong because we know that when we organize communities for the climate, we can WIN against Big Oil's money and power.
It is possible for us to save our planet. It is possible for us to build a better world, a world free of fossil fuels, where our children and grandchildren can have an environment that is clean, fair, and free from the influence of Big Oil.
But this better world is ONLY possible if we act together, right now.
Our $350,000 goal for Earth Day is so important. There has never been a more critical time to take on Big Oil, organize our communities, and save our planet.
Unfortunately, we're still short of our goal. I'm hoping that this email can convince you to bring us closer.
That's why I'm asking if you can contribute $3.50 for our Earth Day fundraising goal. Are you in?
The one thing that Big Oil can't buy is people power. That's why our movement can win. Thank you for all you do for our movement and our planet.
In solidarity,
Monica Hollander
