Hi, it's
Idina Menzel.

I've had some big moments in my life — on Broadway ... in Hollywood ... as
a parent.

And today, I'm hoping you and I will have our own big moment to do
something amazing together for our planet.

Tomorrow is Earth Day, and the stakes have never been higher. The fossil
fuel industry has decided to use the awful crisis in Ukraine to push for
more drilling. They want to fast-track new drilling that will lock in more
profits for them, at the expense of our planet and its people.

But you know who can stop them? My friends at the NRDC Action Fund.
They're going up against fossil fuel companies spending millions to keep
their allies in Congress — and they're working to pass the game-changing
legislation we need to save our climate and our future.

So, here's my proposal — for both you and me: Let's do something big and
meaningful for Earth Day!

[ [link removed] ]Join me in supporting the NRDC Action Fund's work this Earth Day to
push our government to act boldly on climate. Just $5 can
help make a difference.

Every dollar you give before midnight tomorrow will be TRIPLED, up to
$100,000.

Scientists have been shouting at the top of their lungs about the dangers
of climate change. That's what makes pushing political leaders in
Washington to act, and winning big in November's midterm elections, so
important.

If fossil fuel companies get their way, we'll have a Congress hell-bent on
rolling back important climate and health safeguards and doing the bidding
of the oil and gas industry instead of the American people.

Those are the facts — but there's one more reason, one big reason, that
drives me in this fight: The thought of leaving my son with anything less
than a safe and healthy planet.

[ [link removed] ]For Earth Day, join me and donate to the NRDC Action Fund. Thanks to a
special triple match offer, your donation will go 3x as far until midnight
tomorrow. Even $5 helps!

I can vouch for the talented team at the NRDC Action Fund. They're
laser-focused on making the greatest impact for our environment: launching
grassroots advocacy campaigns to push our leaders to action, exposing the
fossil fuel industry's schemes in the media, training and mobilizing
volunteers to get pro-environment voters to the polls, and more.

If you do one thing for Earth Day this year, I hope it's this:

[ [link removed] ]Join me in making a gift to the NRDC Action Fund to power their fight
for a healthy planet. Donate before midnight tomorrow to make sure your
gift will triple in impact, up to their $100,000 goal.

I'm grateful to know that people like you are pushing for a better future.
It gives me hope that in this moment, we can make a real difference.
