Hi John,

The final episode of Season 1 of CLC’s podcast series, “Democracy Decoded,” has arrived, and I wanted to make sure you didn’t miss it.

Listen to the season finale of “Democracy Decoded” by visiting DemocracyDecoded.org ([link removed]) or your favorite podcast platform, like Apple Podcasts!
I’m your host, Simone Leeper, and for the six episodes in Season 1, we’ve taken a journey to see how campaign finance laws in our country do — and don’t — work, and how they impact our everyday lives.

For the season finale, we’re sharing the stories of how local communities in Seattle, Washington and the District of Columbia successfully organized to adopt solutions to better ensure that community members’ voices would be heard in local elections and not drowned out by wealthy special interests.

Some of our guests for Episode 6 include René LeBeau, who administers Seattle’s Democracy Voucher program, and Councilmember Christina Henderson, an at-large member of the Council of the District of Columbia who was elected with support from her constituents using D.C.’s recently-adopted Fair Elections program.

It’s been rewarding to be your host for this season, and I hope you get a chance to listen to all six episodes if you haven’t already. Listen to Season 1 by going to DemocracyDecoded.org ([link removed]) or your favorite podcast platform.

Thank you for your continued support of CLC and our work to advance democracy. We all deserve to have our voices heard in our elections.
Sincerely,

Simone Leeper
