Here are three things you need to know about our race:

- Last quarter, David Valadao out-raised us by collecting nearly $60,000 from corporate PACs. He also benefited from a huge DC fundraiser hosted by Devin Nunes.

- Analysts at Politico just listed CA-21 as a "tossup" race. That's a significant shift in the Republicans' direction.


- Next week is our end-of-month fundraising deadline and we're coming up short of our goal. That's not good.

Republicans are desperate to notch a win in California. Right now, they're convinced that TJ's district is their best shot to do it. So we're doing everything in our power to prepare:

These powerful interests spent hundreds of thousands to keep Valadao in office in 2018. By the looks of things, that won't change much in 2020.
