Donald Trump’s Secretary of Education, billionaire Betsy DeVos, has been a disaster for students. Recently, a federal judge held her in contempt after, as NPR reports, DeVos “violated an order to stop collecting loans owed by students who had been defrauded.”

That comes on the heels of new information that found DeVos’ Department of Education denied 99% of applications for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program. DeVos also proposed slashing $7.1 BILLION from education funding, and she even went so far as to propose defunding the Special Olympics.

DeVos isn’t even trying to hide her trickle-down agenda: She’s doing everything she can to destroy traditional public education as we know it while enriching her billionaire pals and corporations in one fell swoop.
