Earlier this month, I proudly voted in favor of the Marijuana Opportunity Reinvestment and Expungement Act. This legislation would decriminalize cannabis and begin to address the harm done to millions of Americans, largely communities of color, through the failed War on Drugs.

It’s past time we decriminalized weed and expunged nonviolent marijuana convictions so that the communities destroyed by our past policy failures may finally begin to heal. If you agree, I hope you will add your name to my petition right away calling for federal decriminalization of cannabis.
