Gamaliel in Memphis and Beyond
Tomorrow, Gamaliel leaders, organizers, and friends are traveling to Memphis for a weekend of Integrated Voter Engagement (IVE) training and action, titled “Our Power, Our Vote, Our City: Gamaliel in Memphis and Beyond.”
This is an important opportunity for Gamaliel to show up as a network and provide powerful support to our affiliate in Memphis—MICAH—in their fight for a just legal system in Shelby County and robust turnout in the upcoming primary and general elections. As many of you know, MICAH has made the case for addressing the outsized control and impact exercised by the county’s District Attorney. With that office on the ballot in the upcoming election, now is the time to engage voters in a conversation about the power of the prosecutor.
