I joined Shannon Bream on Fox News @ Night last night to discuss what comes next for impeachment proceedings. Thank you for having me on!

Speed Limit Increase on Grand Ave

Speed limit increases are expected along Grand Avenue near El Mirage and Surprise by the end of the month. An AZ Department of Transportation (ADOT) study determined that higher speeds would actually increase safety in this area.  The idea for the study started 7 years ago when an El Mirage constituent contacted me with concerns about the El Mirage City photo radar camera placed on Grand Ave.  As your then AZ State Senator, I listened and worked with constituents, ADOT and stakeholders to pass legislation that prohibits individual cities from placing photo radar cameras on state highways like Grand Ave, and thus the El Mirage photo radar camera was removed several years ago.

Casework Highlight

A military spouse came to us because Medicare had only enrolled her in Medicare Part B, but she was not enrolled in Medicare Part A, which meant she had no primary hospital coverage. We immediately reached out to the Social Security Field Office in Glendale and requested that they expedite the issue to the Payment Center as soon as possible. The Field Office confirmed to us that the Payment Center enrolled the constituent in Medicare Part A and backdated coverage so there was no coverage gap for the constituent!

Arizona's District 8 Congressional Recognition

Ken from my office presented Annie Ansell of the Dysart Community Center with Arizona’s District 8 Congressional Recognition. Annie was nominated by her colleagues because she leads with humility and is a quiet example of strength and drive which is an inspiration to everyone who meets her. She’s brought a wide array of programs to the Dysart Community Center, including GED courses, language and leadership training, internships for teens, and more. Thank you, Annie, for all the good work you do at the Dysart Community Center!
