Celebrate Earth Day with CCL!

Earth Day is this Friday, April 22. With so much attention on climate
and environmental issues, it's a great time to raise awareness in your
community about climate solutions. Here are a couple of activities that
you can do with your CCL chapter in the coming days:

• Set up a CCL table or grab a clipboard

and talk to people at a local Earth Day event.

• Organize a presentation

for a local club, group or school about climate policy and CCL's work.

• Submit CCL's Earth Day op-ed

to your local newspaper. The piece is available in both English and
Spanish.

And here are some actions you can take on your own, as your schedule
allows:

• Send a message

to President Biden and your members of Congress, letting them know you
support a transition to clean energy.

• Write a letter to the editor

of your local newspaper for Earth Day, urging your members of Congress
to act on climate.

• Post on social media

about Earth Day. Share why you care about climate change, and encourage
your friends to check out CCL and get involved.

Find guidance on all these actions and more in our April Action Sheet.
Thanks for all you do on Earth Day, and every day, to preserve a livable
world!

Grasstops: Ski industry leaders endorse EICDA

Montana ski industry leaders Troy Nedved, Bob Petitt and Jeff Schmidt
endorsed the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act in a guest column
of the Bozeman Daily Chronicle.

The three write that climate change has led to the deterioration of the
state's snowpack, which is much needed for successful skiing. The
snowmelt also impacts skiing, winter recreation activities, and tourism
in the state as a whole.

The trio calls on Congress to pass the Energy Innovation and Carbon
Dividend Act, as well as other climate mitigation legislation, to help
the landscape and tourism industry of Montana.
