The deadline to register voters before the Texas primary is just a few days away, so we need to double down on our efforts to get young Latinos registered and turned out to vote.
Registering and mobilizing Latinx voters in primary elections is critical to our strategy of electing Democrats like Beto O’Rourke in 2022 and beyond – here’s why:
1. Young Latinos overwhelmingly support Democrats. When young Latinos vote in large numbers, Democrats win!
2. When young Latinos vote in a primary election, they’re much more likely to become lifelong voters. If we get young Latinos registered and mobilized before the Texas runoff, we can get them to turn out for Democrats for years to come!
