Our federal marijuana laws are obsolete, uninformed, and downright harmful. Marijuana criminalization has been used as a weapon against people of color, who are nearly four times as likely to be arrested for possession as white people are. Allowing the current laws to continue is a terrible injustice.

This isn’t a radical idea – 47 states have reformed their marijana laws, and it’s time for the federal government to follow their lead. 68% of Americans think marijuana should be legal.

We’ve never been closer to legalizing marijuana. But we need to keep up the pressure to convince the Senate to pass the MORE Act. House Democrats are committed to seeing this through, but we need your help. Will you add your name and join us in reforming our federal marijuana laws?
