Democrats,

Women should have the right to make their own decisions in regard to their personal reproductive healthcare. Do you agree? The Republican leadership sure doesn’t. I’m sure you’ve heard the news that Governor Stitt signed a bill into law that will make performing an abortion illegal in this state with no exceptions. Anyone who performs an abortion is subject to $100,000 in fines or 10 years in prison. At certain times they may even be subject to both penalties. Their attack on women must stop. For forty-nine years now Roe v. Wade has been upheld by the Supreme Court. The decision has survived many challenges by far-right extremist groups and continued to protect the rights of women to make their own choices about their bodies. Every woman in Oklahoma deserves the right to quality and affordable healthcare, and that’s what abortion IS Healthcare. This election cycle, we need YOU to stand proudly with us in solidarity. While our healthcare providers work together in our communities to care for patients in need, our far-right Governor pushes his agenda to strip women of their fundamental right to control their bodies.
