John,
Today is the 23rd anniversary of the mass shooting at Columbine High School. It’s a solemn day, a moment to remember the 15 people we lost in this tragedy – and to commit ourselves to finally ending gun violence.
In the 23 years since this tragedy, Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans opposed every commonsense piece of legislation to protect our communities. Laws like universal background checks are supported by an overwhelming majority of the general public.
Gun violence continues to devastate communities across the nation every day and threatens Americans in schools, houses of worship, and places where we should all feel safe.
That’s why we say enough is enough. It’s time to end gun violence in America – we must take action right away.
The House has passed commonsense reforms to tackle the gun violence epidemic, but we need the Senate to do the same. Add your name to demand action to protect our communities from the tragedy of gun violence: [[link removed]]

All my best,
