Friends,
The next phase of the battle over the 2020 election is going to involve misleading claims about “ballot harvesting.”
This is the name given to the processes by which political campaigns have sometimes collected mail-in ballots from their supporters and turn them in for them.
In Minnesota, the law limits that practice. A person can collect up to three ballots and turn them in. This can be in service of an elderly or sick neighbor or family member and helps every eligible voter have their voice heard. That simple accommodation has served us well and it's false to imply otherwise, or to call it "harvesting."

This next phase is starting in Wisconsin, which has become the center of the doomed fight to prove that the 2020 election was stolen from Trump. A new report compiled by a former Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Michael Gableman elevated unfounded claims that the integrity of the election was compromised.
There’s no actual evidence that Gableman’s committee will discover, but that will not stop purveyors of disinformation from continuing to spread falsehoods.
Thanks for having my back,
Steve
