Dear Friends,

In the last few weeks NDN has had a series of particularly compelling conversations about issues which really matter.  We put them altogether for you here, and hope that you will find them as informative and as provocative as we do.  Let us know what you think, and if you like them, do share them with others.  Enjoy…..

Tomicah Tillemann on Web3, Blockchain and Cryptocurrency – Tomicah does a terrific job taking us through the promising, complex and emergent world of Web3, blockchain and cryptocurrency.  This is a highly informative sit-down with a true thought leader in this space.

DOE's Jigar Shah on Financing the Energy Transition – Jigar reviews the really exciting advances American companies are making in tackling climate change, and discusses how the Department of Energy is working alongside to help them succeed.  This one left us very optimistic about the progress good ole fashioned American ingenuity and entrepreneurship is making in this existential battle.

Gretchen Barton On What's She's Heard Listening to the American People – A social scientist, Gretchen has spent the last few months in deep listening sessions with the American people about their hopes, their fears, their views on politics.  In this session she recaps what she’s heard, and offers some thoughts on what it means for the center-left in the coming days.  This one is a true must watch.  Gretchen’s work has heavily informed our thinking in recent months and think it will influence yours too.

NDN Talks To David Rothkopf About Ukraine – We were lucky to get so much time with influential historian and commentator David Rothkopf who went in depth on how America needs to think about Russia’s aggression and what we can do it about it.

Rob Shapiro On The Biden Boom – In this really excellent discussion noted economist Rob Shapiro reviews his recent articles in the Washington Monthly about what he’s been calling “the Biden Boom.”  This session will be very helpful for anyone working on economic or domestic policy.

With Democrats Things Get Better – NDN’s signature presentation has gotten a lot of attention of late, and is the home to many of our economic graphs which are getting wide circulation in US politics right now.  It tells a powerful story about America and the Democratic Party that everyone needs to hear.

Simon on That Trippi Show – “We welcome back Simon Rosenberg, one of the clearest voices on Democratic economic messaging -- and ask him the question -- why aren't Democrats repeating a winning message? What do we have to do to turn this ship around? How do we redefine the Democratic Party as a force for economic success, and how do we make voters listen?” This was an important conversation with one of the most influential strategists of our time.  Hope you can listen.

Best, Simon, Georgia, and the rest of the NDN team
