Eddie Geller here, John.

Today is April 20th and lots of folks are making “weed” jokes.” But ending the failed war on cannabis is no laughing matter. [[link removed]] (And this is coming from someone who’s told his share of jokes!)

As of today, 37 states have legalized cannabis for recreational or medicinal purposes. But — our federal laws still treat “weed” the same as they did in the 1980s! [[link removed]]

And despite our changing national attitudes, too many folks — disproportionately people of color — are still being persecuted for using cannabis. When I’m elected, I promise to do everything possible to end the federal prohibition of cannabis! [[link removed]]

But I need your help. John, can you help end the racist prohibition of cannabis by chipping in $5 to my people-powered campaign today? [[link removed]]

CHIP IN $5 >> [[link removed]]
CHIP IN $25 >> [[link removed]]

It’s high time we end the national prohibition of cannabis (okay, that’s my only 420 pun).

The criminalization of cannabis has been an abject failure that unfairly targets minority and low-income Americans. According to the ACLU, black Americans are over 3 times as likely to be arrested for cannabis possession despite using at the same rates as white Americans.

The war on cannabis is really a war on black and brown communities. [[link removed]] That’s why legalizing cannabis at the federal level is so important.

We must end the racist, failed policy of cannabis prohibition, John. Can you chip in $5 to my grassroots campaign and help end the war on cannabis? [[link removed]]

CHIP IN $5 >> [[link removed]]
CHIP IN $10 >> [[link removed]]
CHIP IN $25 >> [[link removed]]
CHIP IN $50 >> [[link removed]]
CHIP IN $100 >> [[link removed]]
Other Amount [[link removed]]

Thank you!

Eddie Geller
